Description
We are in search of an IT Asset Manager to join a team in San Jose, CA. This role is centered around IT Asset Management in a fast-paced environment, providing vital support for device setup, deployment, and maintenance. This position offers a long term contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
Handle IT Asset Management tasks in a fast-paced setting
Execute device deployment based on user requirements
Utilize Intune for resetting windows and moving devices into autopilot rings for deployment
Evaluate returned equipment, ensuring functionality and warranty coverage
Re-image and prepare hardware for re-distribution
Utilize Azure-Ad, Intune, and auto-pilot for device setup
Manage and respond to deployment requests
Maintain a comprehensive record of all IT assets
Leverage skills in Computer Hardware and Asset Management to fulfill job functions
Ensure the proper functioning of all IT hardware and software.
Requirements
3+ years experience with Desktop Support or IT Asset Management
Experience with image deployment methods like PXE Boot
Skilled in Microsoft Intune and Autopilot
Windows Pre-provisioning experience
Proficiency in Computer Hardware such as assembling, troubleshooting, and maintaining hardware components.
Experience with Asset Management, including tracking and maintaining hardware and software assets.
Ability to handle technical support inquiries from users in a professional and timely manner.
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
Excellent problem-solving and multitasking skills.
Outstanding organizational and time-management skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for assisting non-technical staff with complex technical issues.
Relevant degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
