OVERALL SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to perform complex maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong technical knowledge, and experience working with industrial equipment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Perform advanced maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacement of manufacturing equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities, such as lubricating, cleaning, and adjusting equipment
  • Repair and maintain production lines, manufacturing cells, and infrastructure
  • Assist in installing new equipment and machinery
  • Collaborate with production staff to minimize downtime and optimize production
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts inventory, and equipment manuals
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests and perform repairs as needed
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry developments
  • Perform related tasks with limited supervision.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Individual must possess these knowledge s, skills, and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Technical training or certifications in industrial equipment, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, or HVAC systems
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various environmental conditions
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software and lean manufacturing principles
  • Equipment, methods, and materials used in routine manufacturing of boom/crane equipment.
  • Self-motivated individual to make sure the task at hand is finished and check all repairs to insure the piece of equipment is repaired.
  • Proper safety practices, procedures, and regulations applicable to work being performed.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Resolving conflicts in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Operating power tools and mechanical equipment effectively and safely.
  • Availability for overtime, on-call shifts, and weekend work as needed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 2-5 years of experience in maintenance or a related field in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, and robotics preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical circuits, plumbing systems, and HVAC controls
  • Experience with building automation systems (BAS) and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
