We are seeking an individual to be responsible for providing exceptional, proactive administrative support to the Chief Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Officer and members of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Department based in the Philadelphia office. The position is a core member of the team and plays a major role in supporting our firmwide diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives. This position is hybrid and offers a work schedule of 2 days a week in the office.

As the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Assistant reporting to the Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably at a law firm or legal environment. A high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office 2016, in particular Excel. Experience editing and proofreading documents is essential. Demonstrated technology skills including software applications and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is required. Ability to work beyond the standard scheduled hours, as needed.

Time worked in excess of 40 hours per week will be paid at time and one half of the hourly rate. The salary range for this position is from $60,000 to $63,000 depending upon experience and location.

As the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Assistant reporting to the Chief Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer, your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support, project work, calendar, schedule and travel management and document management for all members of the Diversity Department.
- Coordinating and handling all aspects of external sponsorships including payment, attendee lists, ad submissions, etc.
- Assisting with budget management and preparing and tracking expenses.
- Assisting with events – organizing and coordinating details around logistics, venue, and attendees for Business Resource Groups.
- Client Service Orientation: Professional demeanor and comfort in interacting with senior executives.
- Judgement: Exercises independent judgment and demonstrates maturity and discretion.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities without loss of efficiency or accuracy and manage deadlines independently.
- Teamwork: A team player who can work collaboratively with multiple administrative departments in the Firm.
