Location: Troy, MI (locals preferred) or Remote in EST/CST with required travel to Troy, MI, and other sites as needed
Contract Type: 6-12 months+
Job Summary:
We are looking for an assertive and experienced Project Manager to lead multiple Salesforce CPQ implementations across the US and Canada. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Salesforce CRM and CPQ, and hands-on experience in managing full lifecycle CPQ projects. This role requires proficiency in Azure DevOps (ADO) for project tracking and a solid understanding of change management practices to foster user buy-in.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management: Oversee the entire project lifecycle for Salesforce CPQ implementations, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines and budget.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as the primary contact for business users, stakeholders, and leadership to document requirements and maintain clear project communication.
Scope and Planning: Define project scope, set objectives, and establish detailed work plans, identifying dependencies and potential risks.
Change Management: Employ change management practices to drive user adoption, crafting strategies to ensure smooth implementation.
Salesforce Expertise: Leverage knowledge of Salesforce CRM and CPQ to guide configuration, customization, and the implementation process with technical teams.
Quality Control: Conduct quality checks and regular reviews to meet project standards.
Reporting and Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Tool Proficiency: Use ADO to manage project tasks, track user stories, and ensure visibility of all project activities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience managing multiple end-to-end Salesforce CPQ implementations.
Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach.
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, CPQ, and ADO.
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
Solid understanding of change management principles to facilitate user adoption.
Analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field (preferred but not required).
Preferred Qualifications:
Salesforce certifications, particularly in CPQ or Project Management.
PMP or Agile certifications.
Worksite Location:
Hybrid for local Troy, MI candidates. Remote candidates must be in EST/CST time zones and available to travel to Troy and other sites as required.
