Location: San Ramon, CA
The role requires the first two weeks of Fully onsite work and then a transition to Hybrid mode(2 times a week onsite)

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 annually + Benefits

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer good in SQL, ETL, Complex SQL, and Python who has worked extensively with APIs.

In This Role, You Will

  • Engage in all aspects of a project, designing the Python-based solution end-to-end. Successfully translate functional designs into technical solutions using best practices.
  • Create functional and technical specification documents by understanding customer requirements.
  • Lead the customer interface for the project on an everyday basis, proactively addressing any issues before they are escalated.
  • Participate in quality reviews and implement quality norms. Ensure the project complies with software Quality Processes and is adhering to the defined timelines.
  • Accountable for ensuring the business and technical architecture of the delivered solution matches customer technical and functional requirements and commits to Customer Success (realization of business benefit)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Around 6-10 years of experience working on Python to implement Automation, API creation, ETLs & Visualization
  • Expertise in consuming APIs & building APIs
  • Expertise in batch & shell scripting
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience in Data Engineering working with large-scale data-driven systems.
  • Experience designing data schemas and fine-tuning SQL queries around large, complex data sets.
  • Expertise in any database writing complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures, Views.
  • Experience in Python development using libraries like Pandas etc.
  • Qualified candidates must also have a superior aptitude for analytical concepts, oral and written communication skills, teamwork abilities, and integrity.
