- Job Title: Google Cloud Staff Platform Engineer
- Location: Hybrid (2+ days onsite), Sunnyvale, CA
- Primary Function: DevOps Google Cloud Platform architecting/engineering within a regulated environment, support for mid-sized development teams, and developing infrastructure as code for dynamic environments.
- Responsibilities: Infrastructure automation, cloud integration, infrastructure as code methodologies, automation, Infrastructure release management and operations, monitoring and infrastructure health reporting, configuration/deployment/monitoring framework, cloud environment support on Google Cloud Platform, requirements gathering, formal design process, deployment and management of DevOps pipeline, working with NoSQL Datastores and RDMS, off-hours support for critical applications.
- Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Systems/Infrastructure engineering, proficient with Google Cloud Platform technologies, familiar with Google Cloud Platform Security Command Center and the DevSecOps model, knowledge of AWS technologies preferred, familiar with Linux OS, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, B.S in Computer Science or related technical major, programming languages knowledge (Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript), experience in Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD pipeline and Build tools, experience with Kubernetes and Docker/Container management.
- Travel: 15% (Travel to other offices on occasion)
- Other Requirements: High character, willingness to learn, and team player.
