Job Description
The Grant Writer will prepare and submit grant applications by required deadlines for new funding, including budgets and other administrative aspects. GW will also manager all aspects of pre- & post- award research grant management support; track when grantees need to submit renewals and prepare grant reports as needed; will oversee and report on progress towards grant aims and objectives, throughout the year; will manage grant funding according to state, federal or other applicable regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Health Care Administration, Accounting, Finance, Business (cannot be 'in process');
- Minimum 2 years experience in grant writing and management of grant acquisition, budgets and financial tracking, progress reporting and other compliance requirements for multiple award types including federal grants;
- Experience in or knowledge of non-profit accounting, including fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting;
- PC operations skills and sound working knowledge of basic office software products for word processing, graphic presentations, spreadsheet production and/or database operations, and able to type at least 40 wpm with accuracy.
