Job Summary: We are seeking a talented Senior Platform Services Engineer with a strong background in cloud-first environments. You will join a dynamic and energetic team focused on developing best-in-class solutions. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the capacity, availability, performance, and security of our cloud-based platform, which delivers our SaaS services to customers. You will lead in the development, automation, and documentation of cloud-based services, roadmaps, and support for associated technologies, including CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, alerting, and automation of processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and automate the deployment of scalable, cloud-native Platform Services using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability issues.
• Participate in the development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of large-scale, distributed platform software.
• Automate and maintain cloud-native environments, ensuring system health through monitoring and alerting.
• Enhance system scalability and performance through automation, and drive changes to improve reliability and speed.
• Engage in sustainable incident response practices and conduct blameless postmortems.
• Administer and maintain data stores, including backup, replication, and failover strategies.
• Transform broad, conceptual ideas into functional architectures and software designs to solve customer use cases.
• Develop tools and automated solutions in support of platform services.
• Collaborate with application developers to enhance developer experience and toolsets.
• Support services from inception to design, deployment, operation, and continuous improvement.
• Advocate for strong security practices to ensure customer data safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience with enterprise-level SaaS applications within AWS.
• Experience with Azure is a plus.
• AWS Certification is preferred.
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator is a plus.
• Expertise in Linux and Windows Server administration.
• Experience in AWS, large-scale web services, and Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Knowledge of application web services, serverless applications (Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, EKS).
• Proficiency in hosting requirements for SaaS applications on React/Node.js, .NET, and PHP stacks.
• Experience with load testing and creating automated load test scripts as part of CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with SOA or microservice architecture (RabbitMQ, distributed tracing).
• Extensive knowledge of cloud network technologies.
• Strong skills in technology processes and automation workflows for software development and operations, including:
• DevOps tools such as Azure DevOps and Terraform/Teragrunt.
• Operations tools (Elastic Cloud, New Relic, CloudWatch).
• Managing container-based infrastructures (Docker, Kubernetes) and AWS serverless infrastructures (Lambda).
• Scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Creating and maintaining pipelines for mobile applications deployment (iOS and Android).
