Job Title: IVR Tester (Mandarin/Cantonese)

Location: Remote

Duration: 6-12+Months contract

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled IVR Tester with proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems to ensure they are functioning as intended, with a particular focus on language accuracy and user experience for Mandarin and/or Cantonese-speaking users. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and experience with IVR or telecommunications testing.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute functional, regression, and user experience tests on IVR systems, with a focus on Mandarin and/or Cantonese languages.
  • Verify voice prompts, menu options, and responses to ensure accuracy and clarity in Mandarin or Cantonese.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to identify, document, and resolve issues in the IVR flow.
  • Validate that IVR scripts, prompts, and responses match the intended customer journey and meet quality standards.
  • Log and track defects, working closely with QA and engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure language-specific nuances are correctly implemented and aligned with the local dialect and cultural expectations.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to improve the overall IVR user experience for Chinese-speaking customers.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • 2+ years of experience in testing IVR systems or a similar role in telecommunications.
  • Familiarity with IVR design, call flows, and voice recognition technologies.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Linguistics, or a related field (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HC experience is a plus
  • Experience working in a bilingual or multilingual environment.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
