  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position: Java Software Engineer
Location: Seattle, WA
Duration: 9+ Months

About the Role:

  • Join a forward-thinking technology team at a Fortune 500 client, where you'll have the opportunity to design and develop innovative global payment solutions that transform the Installment space.
  • As part of the Payments Products team, you'll contribute to one of the client's most profitable business areas, building solutions that support high-volume transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Scalable Solutions: Design and implement high-quality software that supports diverse customer use cases, engineered to handle enterprise-level traffic.
  • Enhance Applications: Develop and improve web-based applications and web services at scale to ensure reliability and performance.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Build and refine monitoring solutions, troubleshoot/debug issues, and implement fixes for internally developed Java-based applications.
  • System Improvements: Enhance systems that capture metrics on features and assist in resolving technical challenges with regular updates and tracking.
  • Automation and Documentation: Streamline support processes through automation and maintain detailed documentation for systems and workflows.

Required Qualifications:

  • Java Expertise: 5+ years of experience in Java software development with a strong coding background.
  • Product-Centric Mindset: Interest in working on projects that are focused on product development.
  • Computer Science Fundamentals: Strong grasp of computer science basics and hands-on experience in building full-stack, large-scale distributed systems.
  • Scalable Web Application Development: Practical experience in creating web-based applications and services for high-traffic environments.

Preferred Skills:

  • Automation and Monitoring Solutions: Experience with automation tools and creating robust monitoring solutions.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Demonstrated skill in resolving complex technical issues.
