HERE S WHAT YOU LL DO

The ideal candidate demonstrates a strong desire and ability to build meaningful, caring relationships with students to motivate and influence each student s progression toward a Complete Life.

Assist the Principal in running an effective building:

• Provides supervision and oversight to teachers, if applicable
• Serve as the stand-in for the Principal in her/his absence
• Support teacher learning and growth in the classroom (instruction, classroom management, etc).
• Uphold mandated reporting requirements and all legal requirements Communicate accurately and timely with the network team and staff

Support quality teaching for all, aligned with the instructional vision, particularly related to classroom management.

• Understand and promote the instructional vision and how it supports the mission
  • Observe, provide feedback, coach, and provide PD to teachers
• Participate and contribute to MTSS (academic and social-emotional)
• Accountable for academic progress and achievement of students

Support the Principal to increase the rigor of the building, aligned with the culture vision.

Support the Principal to build an understanding throughout the school of how the Complete Life and the American Promise are complimentary themes.

• With the Principal, responsible for achieving a high level of teacher retention (target established with the network)
• Develop and implement a teacher retention plan
• Promote Cornerstone Complete Life vision with teachers, and build an understanding of how school initiatives align/support it
