ServiceNow Configuration Management

Note: Hybrid 2 days a week onsite

Must Haves:

• 5 years' experience in Configuration Management and using ServiceNow
• 5 years' experience ServiceNow CMDB data model (CSDM)
• 5 years' experience ServiceNow ITOM discovery & Service Mapping

Public Sector Experience: Not Required

Description

• Requirements for ServiceNow Configuration Management
• Candidates for this role should have at least 5 years of experience in Configuration Management and using ServiceNow. They should also have a broad knowledge of multiple technology domains, including network, infrastructure, and application architecture, as well as a good understanding of ITIL processes, and the part Configuration Management plays in service delivery.
• The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of a broad range of technologies and how they work together to deliver services to fulfil a business requirement. They will be able to explain the core principles of Configuration Management, and how it relates to Incident and Change Management within the ITIL framework.

Required Skills:

• 5 years' experience in Configuration Management and using ServiceNow
• 5 years' experience ServiceNow CMDB data model (CSDM)
• 5 years' experience ServiceNow ITOM discovery & Service Mapping
• 5 years' experience ServiceNow discovery pattern development
• 5 years' experience Scripting / programming in Java Script
• 5 years' experience with business application architecture

Nice to Have Skills:

• Java Regular Expression
• Familiarity with Infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux), Virtualisation (VMware, Hyper-V) and Network architecture (switches, routers, firewalls, OSI network model)
• Ability to discuss credentials issues and troubleshoot with engineers.
• High availability application & infrastructure architecture
• Container computing (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Cloud architecture (Azure)
