Description:
The Shopper Experience team is looking for a Senior Product Manager to support Cart + Checkout, which is an effort that's underway. This person should be a very strong executor that can get into the weeds, write stories, work cross functionally, etc. Ideally, they'd like to find someone that is familiar with the cart & checkout areas of the ECOM journey. The strategy/vision for this phase of work, is to create 1 cart that allows customers to be able to get some items in their cart sooner perhaps for pick up (for lunch) vs. set aside others for delivery but is flexible depending on the type of items in the cart.
The cart today is very rigid, and specific to Grocery only, so they want it to be more flexible so its agnostic of the way they merchandise things. They merch things in certain ways, but they want to bring addtl vis to other categories like Deli; they want everything within their catalog be able to be purchased online. Custom cakes or custom sandwich for example.
Cart + checkout are foundational to many aspects of the business, so need to bring business stakeholders along.
Need someone who can unblock themselves, be self-sufficient, have a great product mindset. It's a large project and it will be phased out into multiple phases, but if it does need to be phased out even more, this person needs to be able to do that. We don't need someone super technical, but technical understanding would be very helpful because architecturally they'll be unravelling some things that have been done in the past, so understanding the implications of those architecture decisions and discussions and bringing that forward to feature changes etc, would be helpful.
Product Managers at Albertsons are end to end, meaning they need to be able to think/plan/work on strategy and vision, but also get into the weeds with engineers and write user stories, etc. This person will have a Scrum Master to work with, but there are still some aspects of Project Management that exist for Product. Want someone who can roll up their sleeves and get into the weeds and also present to SVPs and above.
This role requires ALOT of collaboration cross-functionally so this person needs to be dialed in with- organization, follow up, etc.
Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms. If eligible, the benefits available for this temporary role may include the following:
Medical, dental & vision
Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital
401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available
Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)
Short and long-term disability
Health Spending Account (HSA)
Transportation benefits
Employee Assistance Program
Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave)
