Operations and Maintenance Facilities Technician

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operations and Maintenance Facilities Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling and completing repair requests, preventive maintenance, and managing O&M vendors to ensure an exceptional workplace experience for our employees.
Pay Rate? $30-42/hr. depending on experience + 5 days PTO and 6 paid holidays
Location? Downtown Dallas, TX
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage vendor relationships for UPS (Uninterrupted Power Source/System) across North America and LATAM.
  • Partner with site services to maintain mechanical, electrical, and plumbing vendor relationships.
  • Communicate effectively with contractors and internal clients.
  • Develop project scopes, budgets, timelines, and coordinate access and construction.
  • Pull reports, track data in Excel, and use facilities management software.
  • Coordinate project design and engineering efforts with construction teams and internal clients.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and uphold safety standards.
  • Offer on-call support for emergencies.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced, multi-facility corporate environment.
  • Proficiency in HVAC, minor electrical, plumbing, and building repairs.
  • Strong planning and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and handle tasks with urgency.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Basic technical training in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing concepts.

Work Hours:
  • Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm CT.
