In this role, you ll perform inspections of in-process and outgoing components and assemblies. You ll record and analyze inspection results to ensure they meet company, governmental, and UL standards. Additionally, you ll assist with Continuous Improvement (CI) projects such as Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Torque Monitoring, and Terminal Crimping Analysis.
As a member of our QA team, you ll also create project plans and present CI project outcomes to your peers, management, vendors, and customers.

As a member of our QA team, you ll also create project plans and present CI project outcomes to your peers, management, vendors, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect pre-test and post-test components for quality assurance.
- Collaborate on Continuous Improvement Projects, including Value Stream Mapping, 6S, and more.
- Develop project plans and deliver presentations on CI projects to various stakeholders.
- Work closely with operations teams to suggest process improvements based on First Pass Yield (FPY) results.
- Monitor and maintain critical equipment and instrumentation for quality control.
- Draft procedures and assist in their implementation, supporting adherence to quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and validate testing methods, as well as interpret engineering drawings.
- Document quality records in IFS and maintain photographic records as required.
- 2-3 years of experience in wiring, assembly, or testing/troubleshooting drives, soft starters, sub-assemblies, or similar components. Experience in a 508 UL Panel Shop is preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Electronics or technical trade school certification is preferred.
- Proven teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with complex electronic assemblies.
- Proficient in reading schematics and using computer software (Windows, Word, Access, Excel, Outlook).
- Dependable, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
