The Quality Assurance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of high-quality Audio Visual products by conducting comprehensive testing at the end of the production line. Here's what you ll get to do:

  • Product Testing: Conduct thorough and systematic testing of audiovisual products at the end of the production line to verify their performance, functionality, and compliance with established quality standards.
  • Validating and updating/loading current software/firmware: as needed for production units prior to shipping.
  • Defect Identification: Carefully inspect and identify any defects, malfunctions, or inconsistencies in audiovisual products during the testing process. Document and report all findings promptly.
  • Test Plan Development: Create detailed test plans and test cases that cover all aspects of audiovisual product functionality. Design test scenarios to simulate real-world usage and edge cases.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Compile comprehensive test reports that outline the testing procedures, results, and recommendations for improvement. Maintain accurate records and documentation of testing processes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product designers, engineers, and production staff, to address quality-related issues and drive continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting issues that arise during the testing process and provide technical support to resolve any challenges.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the enhancement of testing processes, methodologies, and tools to improve overall product quality and testing efficiency.
  • Quality Audits: Participate in internal and external quality audits to assess compliance with quality management systems and industry standards.

This is what will get you noticed:

  • Associate s or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent work experience is a plus.
  • Electronic product testing experience is ideal.
  • Experience and knowledge working with AV over IP network systems would be a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Technician or in a similar testing role within the audiovisual product industry.
  • Strong understanding of audiovisual technology, including displays, audio systems, video playback, and connectivity features.
  • Familiarity with testing methodologies, tools, and quality assurance principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to think critically.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
