We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Associate Consultant in the Insurance industry, located in Boston, Massachusetts, 02110-3407, United States. This role involves conducting quantitative analysis, developing custom solutions for clients, and working collaboratively with a team.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Quantitative Services team to identify additional necessary data for modeling
Develop custom solutions for clients by merging insurance, financial, and legal concepts to accurately model different scenarios
Conduct quantitative analysis on policy exposure for high-risk insurance claims, and model loss allocation scenarios for mass torts
Provide ad-hoc reporting and data reconciliation services
Accurately collect, compile, and prepare data from different sources for the purpose of analysis Minimum of 3 years of experience in the insurance industry
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated experience in risk management
Proven ability in data entry and data analysis
Knowledge of insurance and reinsurance concepts and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred
Professional certification in insurance or risk management is a plus.
