Information Security Officer
My client has a remote opening for an Information Security Officer. This is a newly created role within the organization and position will involve the following:
- Management of the companies information security program
- Oversight and security of information assets
- Implementation of security policies and controls
- Ensure company adheres to regulatory compliance (PCI-DSS, SOX)
- Identify security risk and incident response
- Develop company security strategy
- Establish internal procedures and guidelines (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR etc)
- Risk remediation
- Implement security technology such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint security, encryption
- Develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans
- Work with internal audit teams and external regulators
- Enact data privacy and protection initiatives
- Must have experience developing and implementing security policies, standards, and procedures
- CISSP, CISM, CEH and GIAC certs are preferred
