Position Overview: looking for a highly skilled and certified Senior Database Administrator (DBA) to lead and build our database management practice. This role is designed for a hands-on leader who can manage complex database environments, drive innovation, and create a strong foundation for our database services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in database architecture, administration, and best practices, along with the leadership skills to mentor and grow a high-performance team.

Experience : 15 years

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of robust database environments, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Build and develop the database practice by defining best practices, creating standards, and implementing training and development programs for the team.
• Provide hands-on expertise in administering, tuning, and troubleshooting SQL databases, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical database systems.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and business stakeholders, to drive database strategy and deliver solutions aligned with business goals.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in database technologies, and recommend upgrades or improvements as needed.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and implement appropriate security measures to safeguard sensitive data.
• Drive automation, monitoring, and proactive management of database systems to minimize downtime and streamline operations.
• Mentor and lead a team of DBAs, providing technical guidance, coaching, and professional development.
