RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Cincinnati, OH that is seeking a Senior Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join their team. This role has an initial contract of 3 months, with potential extension based on project needs.

Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned contractor with advanced skills in building applications on the Microsoft Power Platform to support our newly formed team. This role will be instrumental in upskilling team members on Power Platform capabilities and accelerating their ability to independently develop Power Apps. Additionally, the contractor will work with the team to complete an immediate Proof of Concept (POC) project.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Application Development:
* Lead the design, development, and deployment of custom applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI
* Apply best practices and innovative approaches to create scalable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions
* Work on the POC project alongside the team, contributing to the overall solution design and technical implementation

Team Enablement & Mentorship:
* Provide hands-on training, coaching, and guidance to team members to enhance their proficiency in building and managing Power Platform applications
* Develop and deliver workshops, tutorials, and documentation to help the team become self-sufficient on the platform
* Support troubleshooting and debugging sessions, empowering the team to resolve issues independently

Technical Leadership & Strategy:
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and provide expert recommendations
* Identify and implement best practices for Power Platform development, governance, and security to ensure high-quality solutions
* Advise on Power Platform roadmap alignment and capability expansion, helping the team envision future use cases

REQUIREMENTS:
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in application development with 3+ years specifically on the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
* Strong expertise in building Model-Driven and Canvas Power Apps, developing complex Power Automate workflows, and integrating with external data sources via the Common Data Service (Dataverse), APIs, and connectors
* Mentorship Ability: Demonstrated experience in training and enabling other developers or teams on Power Platform tools and technologies
* Technical Skills: Proficient in low-code/no-code development, JavaScript, JSON, RESTful services, and PowerShell; Familiarity with Azure services, Microsoft Dataverse, and custom connectors is a plus
* Communication: Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts, lead knowledge-sharing sessions, and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
* Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to diagnose and resolve issues quickly and support the team in achieving self-sufficiency

Preferred Qualifications:
* Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Power Platform Developer, Power Platform Functional Consultant)
* Experience with Agile methodologies and working in collaborative, cross-functional teams

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
