Job Description:

Role: Data Literacy Consultant

The Data Literacy Consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive data literacy program aimed at improving employees ability to understand, interpret, and utilize data in their decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and analyze data literacy levels develop targeted training initiatives to address gaps.
  • Design and implement data literacy improvement plans.
  • Design and implement a robust data literacy training program tailored at company and role level
  • Facilitate workshops, seminars, and hands-on training sessions to educate employees on data concepts, analytics tools, and best practices for data usage.
  • Design and curate educational content including guides, tutorials, and e-learning modules
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, analytics, and business units, to promote data literacy initiatives and align training with organizational goals.
  • Provide ongoing change management support for data literacy initiatives
  • Establish metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of data literacy initiatives, making adjustments as needed based on feedback and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience with 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in data literacy and training programs
  • Minimum of bachelor s degree in data science, Statistics, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of data concepts, including data management, data governance, data governance policies and best practices and data quality
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and advocate for a data-driven culture across business units and cross functional teams.
  • Experience developing training programs by persona (Data Steward, Data Owners etc)
  • Experience in creating and delivering educational materials such as guides, handbooks, and e-learning modules and training sessions.
  • Familiarity with e-learning platforms and instructional design principles.
  • Proficiency in using survey tools, conducting interviews, and performing assessments
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical issues effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, to ensure continuous improvement, change management and the successful implementation of data literacy initiatives.
  • A results-driven mindset with the ability to evaluate program effectiveness through metrics and feedback.
