The Product Manager plays a key role in driving the product strategy, portfolio assessment and the development, launch, and continuous improvement of programs offerings. The Product Manager reports to the Director, Product Management.
Responsibilities:
- Support Director with the business strategy of assigned schools, programs, or initiatives within the University’s academic program offerings.
- Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, competitive positioning.
- Track product performance metrics, including enrollment, customer satisfaction, retention, and graduation. Capture and analyze product-related data and data-driven insights within the organization.
- Collaborate with Academic, Development, Finance, Content and Marketing, Legal and Accreditation and other stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize development efforts, and ensure on-time, high-quality product delivery.
- Support processes utilized to analyze customer feedback, internal team feedback, and the overall product plan to optimize product portfolio.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the product management team.
- Work with Product Marketing to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audiences. Ensure product messaging is consistent across all channels and aligns with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure ongoing success of product portfolio.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of Product Management experience in product management or similar roles
- Strong understanding of the higher education industry and student engagement
- Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making abilities, with proficiency in leveraging user insights, market data, and analytics tools to inform product strategy.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
- Experience working remotely with a distributed team.
