Oracle Database Administrator

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a Database Administrator with a focus on Oracle databases, including hands-on experience with both Solaris and Linux environments.
• Must have advanced skills in SQL and PL/SQL development and optimization.
• Strong experience with Oracle APEX for developing and supporting database applications.
• Proficiency in Jenkins or similar CI/CD platforms to automate and streamline database workflows.
• Expertise in performance tuning, query optimization, and using Explain Plan for large-scale databases.
• Extensive experience with Erwin or similar data modeling tools, covering both logical and physical modeling.
• Excellent communication skills

Responsibilities:

• Manage, monitor, and maintain production and non-production Oracle databases on Solaris or Linux environments, ensuring high performance and data security.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL/PLSQL code for database applications, ensuring efficient data retrieval and storage.
• Leverage Oracle APEX to develop and support database applications, creating user-friendly interfaces and applications as needed.
• Analyze and enhance database performance through techniques like Explain Plan, query optimization, and performance tuning for stability and scalability.
• Use Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools to automate database deployment processes, ensuring consistency and efficiency across environments.
• Perform both logical and physical data modeling using Erwin or similar tools, designing relational database structures to meet application and business requirements.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and stakeholders, to ensure database and application requirements are aligned.
