This role is responsible for the daily support and data integrity of our HR systems. The specialist reports to the HRIS Manager.

Assists in the ongoing development, implementation and maintenance of new features.

a. Knowledgeable of the culture of the organization.

b. Constructs processes within modules to meet needs of the organization.

c. Changes are made within established time frames.

Serves as the client resource for the Halogen system

a. Creates system functionality so system users can run reports on an as needed basis.

b. Provides support to team members through training.

c. Run data exacts when reporting function is unable to produce needed data

Daily support of Lawson, Kronos, DTI, Saba/Halogen, iGreenTree, and other HR Systems.

a. Create and execute mass loads to support the business.

b. Remove data as requested by the business.

c. Create, schedule, and run audits for data integrity checks.

Deliver reporting and report tools regarding data regarding employee productivity, attendance records and salary information.

Uses various means to collect data and report data to other departments within the organization.

Provides HRIS problem resolution support, including development, testing, and implementation of process improvements.

Support of the SSRS HR Reporting Tool, including the scheduling, development, and deployment of reports.

Bachelors Preferred

The amount of education needed to work as an HRIS analyst varies from company to company. While some companies may hire an analyst who has earned only an associate’s degree in information technology, most will require candidates to possess at least a bachelor’s degree in human resources, computer science, or a related field.

Experience:

1-2 years

Lawson experience is strongly preferred. SQL experience is strongly preferred.

Some experience working with HRIS systems is necessary, as is project management or systems implementation experience. In some cases, HRIS experience may be substituted for formal education on a year-for-year basis
