Our client is in search of a Senior Java Engineer to join their team on a 6+ Month contract. You will architect software, implement functionality, help maintain the systems, fix bugs, and continue to grow your skill set .
Required Skills:
- 7+ years in Java, Spring, Kotlin
- 3+ years of AWS, Kubernetes
- Temporal / Kafka and DynamoDB database experience
- SOA / microservice-based application experience
- GIT and CI/CD systems experience
- Experience scaling highly available, mission critical systems
- A solid understanding of relational databases and ORMs
- View Unit and Integration test as 1st class citizens in software development
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves, collaborate with others and get stuff done
- Solid sense of responsibility; driving a project from inception to completion
- Affinity for solving problems and shipping impactful features, not polishing perfect code or architecture
Bonus Skills:
- Fintech, Financial, or banking experience
- You have experience scaling highly available and mission critical systems
- Full-stack experience, either toward systems (kafka, temporal, docker), databases (DynamoDB), or front-end (javascript/typescript, react).
