Are you an experienced professional with a passion for education and training? Serco-NA is seeking a seasoned Training Instructor and Facilitator to lead and manage training initiatives. In this role, you will work independently with limited supervision, taking responsibility for the design, delivery, and assessment of training programs.
This position may require vocational or technical education in addition to relevant work experience and is contingent upon contract award.

As an expert in your field, you will coach and mentor junior professionals while also influencing policies and practices to improve training effectiveness.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Develop and deliver engaging training sessions that cater to various learning styles, ensuring participants gain the necessary knowledge and skills.
- Design, organize, and update training curricula, ensuring materials are current and aligned with organizational needs and objectives.
- Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals, offering guidance and feedback to help them improve their instructional skills and program effectiveness.
- Manage projects and training initiatives, including scheduling, coordination, and evaluation, while meeting project deadlines and objectives.
- Address difficult and sometimes complex problems related to training delivery, making informed decisions and adjustments as necessary.
- Influence and contribute to the development of policies, practices, and procedures to improve the overall quality and effectiveness of training programs.
- Implement assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven improvements where needed.
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in education, or a related field is required.
- At least 8 years of experience as a training instructor, facilitator, or in a related role, with demonstrated expertise in delivering training programs.
- An active DoD Secret security clearance or the ability to obtain one is required.
- Advanced knowledge of training methodologies and instructional techniques, typically obtained through a combination of education and work experience.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision, while managing and mentoring junior professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience handling difficult and complex issues in training environments.
- Practical knowledge of project management principles, with the ability to oversee training projects from conception to completion.
- 10% travel is required
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to a wide range of audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing training logistics, materials, and assessments.
- Ability to adapt training approaches and materials to meet evolving organizational needs.
