Job Title: Content Creator for Content Club

Overview:

Our college club is seeking a creative and motivated Content Creator to develop engaging media for our social platforms and club events. As a key member of our team, you will bring fresh ideas and innovative content to showcase our club’s activities, attract new members, and engage our campus community.

Responsibilities:
  • Content Creation: Design and produce high-quality content (photos, videos, graphics) for social media platforms (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and campus bulletin boards.
  • Event Promotion: Work with club leadership to create marketing materials (flyers, social media posts) for upcoming events, workshops, and meetings.
  • Social Media Management: Help manage the club’s social media accounts, including creating a content calendar, scheduling posts, and engaging with followers.
  • Creative Strategy: Propose creative ideas for campaigns, posts, and story takeovers to promote the club’s mission and activities.
  • Campus Engagement: Act as a brand ambassador for the club by networking with other campus organizations and students, increasing the club's visibility.
  • Analytics: Track and report engagement metrics to understand what content works best and optimize future posts.
Requirements:
  • MUST BE A STUDENT AT NORTHEASTERN UNIVERSITY
  • Creativity & Design Skills: Experience with graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) and a strong sense of visual aesthetics.
  • Social Media Knowledge: Familiarity with social media platforms, trends, and content strategies.
  • Communication: Strong writing and editing skills for creating compelling captions and stories.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work well with a diverse team, collaborate on ideas, and adapt to feedback.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and meet deadlines consistently.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with video editing software (e.g., iMovie, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere).
  • Previous experience managing social media for an organization or club.
  • Passion for the club’s mission and excitement about enhancing student life on campus.
