Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Lead a production team, providing resource management and resolving complex technical challenges while coaching, training, and mentoring design and CAD professionals. Collaborate closely with all team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Oversee resource scheduling to effectively manage workloads and meet deadlines.
• Establish, promote, and uphold quality standards for all projects and work completed by the group.
• Develop proposals or contracts that accurately define project scope, ensure profitability, and support feasible project timelines.
• Understand the goals and challenges of current and potential clients to identify new opportunities and cross-sell additional services offered by the

firm.

• Contribute to the development of both short-term and long-term strategic market sector plans, with a primary focus on the DFW market.
• Ensure the profitable operation of the Water Resources group in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• 7+ years of relevant experience and/or training
• Strong motivation to grow the Water Resources sector within the DFW market
• Technical expertise in site civil engineering, particularly in CIP planning, stormwater, and natural resources
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead projects through the entire design process independently and collaboratively
• Ability to manage and cultivate key relationships independently
• Solid understanding of budget considerations and the impact on profit and revenue
