Position Overview:

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of IT experience, expertise in Active Directory architecture and security, and proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft technologies.

Position Overview:
The role involves managing a large-scale Active Directory and messaging system for Central PA, supporting over 100,000 accounts, with primary responsibilities in Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for both on-premises and Azure Active Directory. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of IT experience, expertise in Active Directory architecture and security, and proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft technologies.
Duties:
- Manage and support a large, multi-domain Active Directory environment, including on-premises Exchange 2019, Windows 2022, and Microsoft 365, serving over 100,000 accounts.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for both on-premises and Azure Active Directory, ensuring high availability and security.
- Act as the Senior AD Architect, responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting robust Active Directory structures and disaster recovery plans.
- Develop, document, and enforce security standards and access controls to maintain system integrity.
- Utilize PowerShell for automation and scripting to streamline administrative tasks, troubleshoot issues, and enhance system performance.
- Minimum of 10 years of IT experience.
- 4 year college degree in related discipline required.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in administering Active Directory environments containing multiple sites leveraging Windows Server 2008 and higher.
- Strong knowledge in managing Active Directory 2016/2019/2022 infrastructure for the Enterprise.
- Experience with DNS and Key Management Service (KMS).
- Experience with Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) is required
- Strong experience in PowerShell is required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills able to speak directly and professionally.
- Microsoft Windows Server certifications
- Microsoft Core Infrastructure certification
- Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator certification
- Microsoft PKI and Certificate Services certification
- ITIL v3 or v4 foundations certification
