Sr. Manager, Security Engineering

Primary Talent Partners has a new Sr. Manager, Security Engineering opening with our large consumer banking client in Indianapolis, IN. This will be a 3 month, FT temp to hire contract. The role is hybrid, requiring 3 days onsite per week.

Pay: $75 - $93/hr based on experience and education; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits

Description and Responsibilities:
* Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of security technologies, solutions, and architectures.
* Ensure the integration of security controls throughout the organization's systems and infrastructure.
* Identify and assess security risks, vulnerabilities, and emerging threats, and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.
* Collaborate with the incident response team to develop and maintain an incident response plan and procedures.
* Oversee security incident investigations, coordinate response efforts, and implement remediation measures.
* Establish security monitoring and alerting mechanisms to detect and respond to potential security incidents.
* Conduct periodic security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement. Focus on experience with managing a Web Application Firewall, Email Security/Antispam/responding to tier I alerts escalated by a SOC, participation on an on-call rotation

Qualifications:

• Experience in responding to incidents
• Experience in SOC environment
• Prefers some cyber security certifications, however, not a requirement
• 5 - 8 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Crowd Strike, Google Crowd
• A passion for Cyber Security
