Patch Management Specialist

job summary:

The IT Patch Management Contractor will be responsible for managing the patching processes for all IT systems and ensuring that all Operating Systems, software, and hardware are up-to-date and secure. This position will collaborate with additional team members to continually improve overall patching process and maturity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Patch Management: Manage the deployment of patches to all IT systems, including servers, workstations, and network devices, ensuring minimal disruption to operations using enterprise toolsets.
• Security Compliance: Ensure that all systems comply with the latest security standards and best practices by timely application of patches and updates.
• Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments using enterprise reporting and security tools to identify key security vulnerabilities for mitigation.
• Coordination: Coordinate with various departments to schedule patches and updates, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all patch management activities and procedures using enterprise toolsets.
• Incident Response: Assist in the investigation and resolution of incidents related to patch deployment.
• Other duties, as assigned.
