Job Description
The Azure Security Engineer will support the implementation and optimization of Microsoft Azure Security solutions for the Threat Detection & Response (TDR) operations team. This includes working on projects to implement Azure security solutions and providing ongoing support for validation and continuously improved operations. Responsibilities:
1. Security Architecture: Collaborate with the Enterprise Security Architecture team to design and implement secure architectures for Azure-based applications, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
2. Security Controls: Implement and optimize Azure-based security controls, including security incident & event management systems, Defender suite of security solutions, and access controls to protect against threats.
3. Threat Assessment: Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities within the Azure environment.
4. Incident Response: Support the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) in responding to and handling potential security incidents.
5. Compliance and Auditing: Support the ongoing compliance of Azure security controls with Hardening Standards and industry recommendations. Conduct regular audits and reviews to validate and optimize security posture.
Required Skills:
1. Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure security features and services.
2. Knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
3. Experience with Azure security tools and technologies, such as Sentinel, Defender for Identity, Defender for Cloud, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for IoT, Purview, and InTune Conditional Access Policies.
4. Proficiency in scripting languages like PowerShell and Python.
5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
7. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present technical solutions to non-technical and executive audiences.

2. Azure Security Engineer Expert
3. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
4. Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) #ZR
