Job overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Specialist to join our team, specializing in B2B sales within the IT and software development industry. This is a unique opportunity for a motivated individual to take full ownership of the sales process, as this will be the sole sales position within the company. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet revenue targets in the Financial Services industry
- Manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring alignment with the company's outsourcing services
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate deals, and tailor proposals and contracts to client needs in collaboration with the technical team
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and providing solutions that align with the company's offerings
- Generate leads through various channels (networking, cold calling, social media, etc.) and qualify them to ensure they fit the company's target market
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, with flexibility to explore other industries such as Real Estate, Healthcare, Retail, etc
- Leverage existing marketing and sales materials, and work with internal teams to develop additional resources when necessary
- Utilize CRM tools, project management platforms, and digital sales tools to manage multiple accounts and drive business growth
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends
- Monitor sales performance, report on key metrics, and continuously enhance skills through professional development courses and certifications
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
- Ongoing professional development through relevant certifications (e.g., IT Service Management, Technical Sales, Dale Carnegie, Harvard Business School courses)
- At least 5+ years in sales within the IT or software development industry
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in outsourcing sales
- Strong track record in B2B sales, managing end-to-end sales processes
- Technical background with an understanding of IT services and software development processes
- Comprehensive understanding of corporate sales strategies and procurement processes
