Job Details:

JOB TITLE: Technical Instruction Design Specialist

CONTRACT DURATION: 52 weeks

SHIFT: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

WEEKEND REQUIREMENT: No

LOCATION: Remote

ONBOARDING TIME: Expect 3-5 weeks from offer acceptance to start date.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Technical Instruction Design Specialist designs and develops instructional materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training materials, job aids, and simulations, to support end-user training on Epic Systems and related third-party software.
  • Conducts regular reviews and updates of training materials to reflect software updates, enhancements, and changes in organizational workflows.
  • Researches, evaluates, and incorporates third-party software applications into training curriculums as needed, ensuring seamless integration with Epic Systems
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders, including IT staff, project managers, department leaders, and end-users, to understand training needs, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Supports change management efforts related to the implementation of Epic Systems, including communication, stakeholder engagement, and resistance management.
  • Supports and advances system goals and initiatives while adhering to the WellSpan values.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education and Certifications:
    • Bachelor s degree
  • Experience:
    • 3 years of Relevant experience in education and curriculum development
  • Skills:
    • Technical Instruction Design Specialist requires Cupid & Radiant Epic experience (specific modules within EPIC)

  • Resume with last seven years of work history if applicable - all work history gaps of 90+ days must be explained.
  • Copy of diploma for highest level of completed education.
  • Two manager/supervisor references who you have worked with in the last two years.
  • Upcoming requested time off for the duration of the contract.
  • Interview availability for the next 7-10 days.
  • Documentation of Covid vaccination or medical/religious exemption.
