Qualifications
To land this role you will need:
Quantitative Skills:
- Strong background in statistical modeling, time-series analysis, and probability theory.
Technical Proficiency:
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and tools for quantitative analysis.
- Familiarity with high-performance computing environments (including the cloud) and handling large datasets.
Problem-Solving:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply quantitative methods to real-world trading challenges.
Financial Knowledge:
- Understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, and market microstructure.
Primary duties will include:
- Apply advanced statistical techniques and quantitative models to analyze and predict market behaviors.
- Design and implement algorithms to optimize trading strategies, including execution, hedging, and market impact minimization.
- Utilize large historical datasets to research and backtest new trading strategies and models.
- Develop models for short-term and medium-term pricing, as well as probability and risk management in trading scenarios.
- Work closely with trading, technology, and operations teams to integrate quantitative research into the trading infrastructure.
- Stay current with advancements in quantitative finance, machine learning, and AI, applying this knowledge to enhance trading strategies.

Education / Certification Requirements:
- Education: Advanced degree (Master s or Ph.D.) in Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
