As a Physical Security Specialist at the GS-0080-12 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Conducting testing of security and screening equipment (e.g., walk-thru metal detectors, x -ray machines, explosive trace detection units, handheld metal detectors, duress alarms, cameras, intercoms, entry control packages, etc.).
- Conveying complex security requirements and recommendations.
- Planning, scheduling, coordinating, and carrying out Judicial Security work.
