You will:

  • Develop and implement strategies to successfully oversee and implement the Brownfields program to achieve program goals for a broad range of site assessment, site cleanup, and redevelopment activities.

  • Manage grants, cooperative agreements, interagency agreements, and/or contracts to assess and clean up hazardous substances and/or petroleum at the most technically complex or controversial brownfields sites.\

  • Lead efforts to conduct outreach and community involvement activities within EPA and with other entities to develop and promote strategies for the assessment, cleanup, and economic and/or sustainable revitalization of Brownfields sites.

  • Advise on implementing program policies and priorities through the national grant competition process, leadership and participation on work groups, and measurement of program results.

You will spend 25-50% of your work time on contracts, grants/cooperative agreements, and/or interagency agreements.
