Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Specialist to join our team. This role involves analyzing business requirements, recommending IT solutions, overseeing the deployment of hardware, software, and network systems, troubleshooting issues, ensuring system security, and optimizing system performance. Additionally, they will also collaborate with internal and external teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives and promote operational efficiency and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and deploy IT hardware within a substantial Google Workspace setup.
- Handle new user setups, including Google Workspace, Office 365, VOIP devices, and distribution
of general IT equipment. - Provide user support, both remotely and in-person, as needed, and collaborate with external
equipment service providers for comprehensive support. - Oversee the implementation and maintenance of hardware equipment, network switches,
firewalls, and web filtering devices and contribute to the design and acquisition of these
technologies. - Set up and maintain virtual servers, managing their resources effectively.
- Possess a thorough understanding of enterprise IT security, optimizing access control in line with
best practices, and conducting user training on secure IT practices. - Be familiar with contemporary backup technologies and strategies.
- Uphold compliance with quality, environmental, and business continuity policies and standards.
- Show a readiness to learn and innovate in the field of IT solutions.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, plus one to two years of related
experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Proficiency in Windows workstation/server operating systems, virtualization technologies,
networking, IT security principles, and backup technologies is essential for success in this role.

*Payrate: Hourly/Salary (based on experience, skillsets & can be discussed during the interview process)
*Must be able to commute to/from Longview, NC daily.
*As needed only - Must be able to commute to other OneH2 locations to assist with IT needs. These locations include; Connelly Springs, NC, and Clover, SC.
*Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm.
