The Industrial Equipment Mechanic installs, maintains, repairs, and modifies the mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of a high-volume automated pharmacy fulfillment system (APFS) and supporting equipment. systems but not limited to:
- Overhauls, repairs, modifies, and replacement of failed or worn components for conveyor systems, automated dispensing equipment, material handling equipment and a variety of other industrial equipment typically associated with automated systems
- Determines the nature and extent of repairs and proceeds with the needed repairs by replacing, reworking, or refinishing worn or damaged parts and components
- Installs, maintains, repairs, and modifies the mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components of a high-volume automated pharmacy fulfillment system (APFS) and supporting equipment.
- Performs preventive maintenance services, conducting periodic, preventive, and electronic and equipment sensor inspections in accordance with manufacturers instructions
- Checks electrical equipment for voltage and amperage changes
- Applies a variety of methods, procedures, and techniques to layout, install, align, repair, overhaul, and maintain various types of industrial plant machinery, equipment, and systems that have complex interrelationships among equipment electronic components
Work Schedule: (2 shifts are available) Monday - Friday 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM (EST) and 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (EST)

Work Environment: Work is usually performed inside areas that are adequately lighted, ventilated and heated. Floor and deck surfaces are sometimes uneven, oily, and slippery. Frequently exposed to moving objects and sharp edges with the possibility of cuts and bruises, and to noise and vibration from machines. Occasionally, climbs and works from ladders and staging's, causing exposure to possibility of serious injury from slipping and falling. Dirt, grease, and dampness are frequently encountered. Various protective devices such as hard hats, gloves, safety shoes, and glasses are used.
Starting at $29.85 Per Hour (WG 10)
