In this position you will become a key team member of Homeland Security professionals serving as a Program Manager for Border Patrol and Air and Marine Program Management Office's Laredo Sector, where both the scope and effect of the facilities work have a CBP-wide impact. This position starts at a salary of $126,916.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to $164,993.00 (GS-14, Step 10).

Typical work assignments include:

  • Overseeing the overall planning, direction, and timely execution of the activities of all facilities and infrastructure work performed in the area of responsibility within the Border Patrol and Air and Marine Program Management Office.
  • Managing and providing broad administrative oversight for all local project management, building maintenance, operations, repair requirements, and associated minor alterations of assigned facilities in their respective portfolio.
  • Providing advice on strategic issues and collaborating with other program offices across CBP, other components within DHS, and external service providers to improve end-to-end processes throughout the program office.
  • Determining goals and objectives that need additional emphasis; developing measures that evaluate performance; making or recommending program improvements; and managing all resources as corporate assets.
  • Performing as a liaison for senior leadership of business partners, United States Border Patrol, and/or Air and Marine Operations, within the area of responsibility.
