- Incumbent plans and assigns work, sets priorities, advises on program goals and objectives, and makes decisions on work problems presented by subordinate staff.
- Analyze work requirements and determines staff resources, equipment, and budget needed to satisfy those requirements.
- Assign work and explains requirements to staff members for mission accomplishment.
- Establish and adjust schedules, priorities and deadlines for work and coordinates assignments for division personnel.
