As a Supervisory IT Specialist, you will:

  • Plan and manage IT Projects by conducting IT strategic planning and project management activities.
  • Serve as a recognized, technical authority for new and advanced computer systems software and cyber security.
  • Oversee the migration of systems to production environment and monitors for stability, accuracy, and performance.
  • Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration for the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
  • Perform feasibility studies including original research in order to develop information systems to meet user requirements.
  • Provide expert analysis and advice and develops solutions to solve issues and problems associated with IC and agency-wide IT problems.
  • Direct, coordinate, and approve detailed planning design, development, programming, testing, documentation, training, and implementation of IT systems through the use of outside vendors.
Starting at $139,395 Per Year (GS 14)
