As an IT Specialist at the GS-2210-13 level, some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Serving as an Information Technology Specialist with considerable responsibility for managing a full range of IT-related service delivery, operations and projects for JPATS.
- Providing expert IT advice to the JPATS leadership and assuring JPATS compliance with all IT-related guidance.
- Applying expert knowledge of the broad range of IT related compliance requirements such as Congressional mandates, federal regulations and guidelines, departmental regulations and guidelines, and USMS IT guidance, policies, and procedures.
- Leading a full range of IT projects and services through the IT change control process for JPATS.
- Serving as the Information Technology Division's business relationship manager and representative for JPATS.
- Coordinating project requirements, service installation, service operations and restoration of services.
