We are now seeking a
Communications Manager
to join the global Communications team with support for the Americas region.
This position will be responsible for developing and executing a global media relations strategy, content and messaging that supports Kemira's strategic objectives, with a special emphasis on the North American market. This position is located in our Atlanta Galleria office and is eligible for hybrid work.
In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include
Planning and execution of integrated global communications and media relations particularly in North America Serve as the primary point of contact for media inquiries and manage relationships with key global and North American journalists, editors and influencers. Proactively pitch stories to top-tier internation, regional, and industry-specific media outlets Media training of Kemira's media spokespeople Create and manage compelling content for media, including press releases, briefing documents and messaging frameworks Developing of communications concepts and strategies for global communications Crisis communications and issues management with Director of Communications and CCO Other areas relevant to communications What you'll bring to the team:
Skills
Masters degree in PR, journalisms, communications, or similar Native-level English speaker 5 to 7 years of experience in external communications, media relations in a global B2B industry and/or as an journalist Proven experience managing media relations in the North American market with an understanding of the global media landscape Excellent writing, editing and content development skills Ability to work cross-functionally.
