Neos is Seeking an AWS Systems Analyst for a long-term contract with our client in Austin, TX.

I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
System Analyst will be responsible for
- Implement systems that are highly available, scalable, and self-healing.
- Design, manage, and maintain tools to automate operational processes on AWS .
- Automate security controls, governance processes, and compliance validation on AWS.
- Work closely with developers to implement continuous delivery systems and methodologies on AWS
- Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems on AWS
- Build tools and processes to support the infrastructure
- Share knowledge within the team

II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

Years Required/Preferred Experience
4 Required Experience with industry-standard tools for infrastructure monitoring, application performance monitoring, visualization, and alerting
4 Required Experience in automation and testing via scripting & programming (TFS, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Java)
4 Required Strong background in Agile Principles / Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery
4 Required Experience of Public cloud (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or similar) DevOps design and engineering & support experience
4 Required Strong experience in Configuration Management and Release Management
8 Preferred Experience in best practices for optimizing IT infrastructure, providing policies, standards and guidelines
7 Preferred Demonstrated experience working in cross-functional engineering teams that incorporate software developers, QA, and product managers
7 Preferred Clear written and verbal communication
1 Preferred Strongly Preferred - Certified on at least one: AWS DevOps Engineering, AWS Certified Developer - Associate, or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
1 Preferred Preferred graduation with a Bachelors degree in CS, CIS, math, or similar technical degree.
III. TERMS OF SERVICE
Services are expected to start 01/20/2025 and are expected to complete by 08/31/2025. Total estimated hours per Candidate shall not exceed 1576 hours. This service may be amended, renewed, and/or extended providing both parties agree to do so in writing.
WORK HOURS AND LOCATION
A) Services shall be provided during normal business hours unless otherwise coordinated through the Agency. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., excluding Texas state holidays when the agency is closed.
B) The primary work location will be 701 W. 51st, Austin, Texas 78751.
Position will be 4 days remote with 1 day (Thursdays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL ONLY to the Austin area.
Please do not submit candidates who are currently out of state and are planning to move to Texas. Candidates must already reside in Texas.
