Senior Infrastructure Project Manager
The Senior Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for managing complex, multi-departmental programs and projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires overseeing all aspects of infrastructure projects, coordinating with both internal teams and external vendors, and following formal project management methodologies. The Senior Project Manager will lead project planning, execution, and reporting, utilizing tools such as MS Project and SharePoint to track progress, manage risks, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams, including technical leads, consultants, and contractors, through project lifecycle phases.
- Develop and maintain key project documents such as Project Charters, Management Plans, Requirements, and Design documents.
- Produce and distribute weekly status reports and manage project schedules using MS Enterprise Project Management and MS Project Professional.
- Manage risks, issues, and changes, implementing formal risk management and mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain SharePoint project sites for collaboration and document management.
- Track and report on schedule, budget variances, and ensure quality baselines and estimates are in place.
- Conduct operational readiness reviews and manage project deliverables to ensure smooth implementation.
- Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) and evaluate vendor proposals as needed.
- Ensure projects meet all internal quality checkpoints and department-level reviews.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience managing infrastructure projects, using formal project management methodologies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Project, MS Office Suite, and project management tools like MS Project Server or Primavera.
Preferred:
- PMP Certification.
- 4+ years of experience with project management tools like Microsoft Project Server.
