Position Overview

The Account Coordinator is primarily responsible for helping senior Account Management team members coordinate and manage all day-to-day agency efforts on behalf of the client. Reporting to the Account Supervisor, this individual works closely with the Account team and across disciplines to ensure that agency deliverables adhere to client objectives, strategic plans, brand standards and meet agency quality standards.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop an understanding of the client’s business, category and competitor landscape and category trends
  • Manage monthly competitive research and client deliverables, working with senior Account Team members to review, evaluate and ensure quality standards
  • Monitor, track and analyze category and competitor information and use this knowledge to add value to client work
  • Coordinate large multi-disciplinary teams effectively and respectfully
  • Develop project budgets and timetables that balance client requirements and agency interests
  • Monitor projects to assure quality, report status, and manage to budget and
  • schedule, proactively addressing billing issues and potential overages
  • Support ongoing communication and feedback process for the project,
  • keeping the rest of team apprised of progress and challenges
  • Convey a productive sense of urgency and drive issues to closure when appropriate
  • Master all agency processes and systems, including status reports, billing, conference reports and creative briefs
  • Develop a thorough understanding of production process for all creative media and manage media releases
Qualifications & Skills Requirements
  • BA degree, preferably in marketing, communications, advertising
  • 1-2 years Advertising or marketing experience preferred
  • Ability to build and nurture strong, working relationships with internal and client team members
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills – you’re proactive, articulate, poised and convincing
  • Coordination of large multi-disciplinary teams effectively and respectfully
  • Negotiation skills in tough situations with internal and external groups
  • Proficiency in Google Suite
  • Excellent Project Manager, particularly in highly technical digital projects
  • High-energy and can maintain a positive attitude in the face of a rapid-paced, deadline-driven agency environment
  • Highly motivated self-starter with strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity who loves solving problems and thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Eligible to work in the United States
