Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of experience in Risk & Controls in a large global Bank or institution
- Experience in policy development and governance
- Strong project management skills, particularly in change management processes
- Excellent written & verbal skills with the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions through concise and clear messaging to senior stakeholders
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently
- Ability to collabore across different lines (first, second, and third) is important
- Ability to perform independently, organized, and flexible
- Able to thrive in a very fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Advanced Degree
- Knowledge and understanding of financial services
- Wholesale Credit Risk or related Risk Management experience
- Consulting background
- Policy development experience
- Provide guidance to 1st and 2nd Lines of Defense regarding Policy requirements, interpretations, and compliance.
- Provide strategic input into the development and enhancement of all Wholesale Credit Risk Policy, Standards, and Procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and simplification.
- Proactively identify continuous improvement opportunities in the compliance and reviews of Policy and all related documents.
- Engage with Businesses and Global Functions to track and influence the implementation of Wholesale Credit Risk Policy requirements.
- Lead and participate in all regulatory engagement on Wholesale Credit Risk Policy and related documents.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to roll-out timely communications, trainings, newsletters, etc.
