Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Manager of Content Strategy, Operations and Measurement to join our team. This role is ideal for a strategic thinker who excels in improving processes and has a keen eye for analytics. The successful candidate will be responsible for refining our content creation processes, documenting procedures, and providing actionable insights through detailed reporting to enhance our content strategy and creation.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with implementing content strategy methodologies to help plan for the creation, delivery and governance of useful, usable content
  • Work closely with the content team to shape, develop, maintain and document evolving content style guide
  • Develop and refine processes for thought leadership and content creation to enhance efficiency and improve output quality
  • Execute detailed quarterly and weekly reports to track the performance and impact of thought leadership initiatives
  • Identify and implement measurement best practices to enhance the effectiveness and reach of our content and thought leadership efforts
  • Advocate for solutions that balance the needs of customers with business objectives
  • Succinctly present and rationalize work to stakeholders
  • Leverage data and research to evaluate content's impact
  • Write clear, consistent, copy for customer, field and home office experiences

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years of previous experience in content management, operations, strategy or a similar role
  • Strong writing skills and command of the English language (grammar, spelling and vocabulary)
  • Ability to adhere to brand voice, tone and style requirements.
  • Familiar with or exposed to content strategy methodologies, such as content auditing, defining taxonomies for tagging, governing content, etc.
  • Familiar with data-driven approaches that take into consideration business metrics, site assessment, competitive analysis, and research
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects; adaptable to ever-changing priorities
  • Ability to collaborate, seek clarity and work independently to execute on tasks
  • Willingness to help teammates and learn from them
  • Explains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus

Compensation Range:

Pay Range - Start:

$59,150.00

Pay Range - End:

$109,850.00

Northwestern Mutual pays on a geographic-specific salary structure and placement in the salary range for this position will be determined by a number of factors including the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; the scope, complexity as well as the cost of labor in the market; and other conditions of employment. At Northwestern Mutual, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
