Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Sr. Engagement Manager, Digital Retail & Consumer Strategy for a Contract assignment with one of our premier SaaS clients in San Jose, CA or New York, NY . This is a hybrid role.

The Digital Strategy Group works with C-level leadership at leading retail companies to advise on digital strategy and transformation for customer-experience transformation and digital innovation. The client has long been at the forefront of enabling customers' on digital transformation and new experience-led business models in industries such as retail, travel, and banking. This has translated into a stock price appreciation of over 5X over the past five years.

As a Senior Engagement Manager, you will focus on the Retail industry, and lead strategy engagements. For each engagement, you will quarterback a team of experts to conduct analyses, develop insights, and deliver actionable recommendations. You will advise senior industry leaders and utilize your experience to become a trusted advisor and thought leader on trends, digital innovation, use cases for technology, and relevant research in your industry.

This role will be positioned within their Worldwide Field Operations Department. Worldwide Field Operations provides customers with the products, services, solutions, and support they need to make, manage, measure and/or monetize their digital assets. Worldwide Field Operations includes Worldwide Sales, Reseller Partnerships, Partner Sales, Global Services, Sales Operations and the Worldwide eCommerce organizations.

Required Skills :
  • Experience leading engagements in a top management consulting firm or digital agency
  • Expertise in the retail industry, including stores, e-commerce and direct to consumer companies
  • A strong track record of leading strategy formulation and translating strategy into plans that deliver results
  • Stellar executive presence and communication skills, with ability to engage and inspire senior leaders
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills including talent for conducting research, analyzing data, developing hypotheses, and crafting effective recommendations focused on the biggest opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence and achieve results in a cross-functional environment
  • High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%
